Frequently Asked Questions

The frequency of window cleaning always depends on your level of desire for clean windows but also on your budget and the seasons. As a rule of thumb, we always recommend getting the exterior of the windows cleaned every six months to 1 year to keep up with the dirt and dust that the Arizona desert delivers daily. If dust, pollen, hard water, ozone, and other debris are on the glass for extended periods without cleaning, they can begin to lodge themselves into the pores of the glass, creating a more difficult cleaning and degrade the overall nature of the glass. We have some clients that get their windows cleaned monthly or every other month, which is fantastic, and then we have clients that go quarterly or semi-annually. We incentivize our clients to get onto our recurring maintenance program (RMP) and set up consistent exterior window cleanings so that you know your homes’ windows are taken care of and gain access to discounts on cleanings.

We take pride in servicing our existing customers, but we always do our best to schedule most jobs within five business days. Sometimes we can come the same day or the very next day, simply depending on your location, the size of your project, and how our current schedules are at the time. Just give us a call if you need immediate service.

Squeegee Bros Window Cleaning covers the entire metro Phoenix valley washing windows in cities like Scottsdale, North Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Arcadia, Tempe, Phoenix, Fountain Hills, Cave Creek, Gilbert, Chandler, Ahwatukee, Mesa, Queen Creek, Peoria, and more. There are some cities we don’t travel to, so if your city is not listed here, fill out our form or call us to find out if you are within our service area.

Our pricing has been established based on decades of experience and thousands of data points. There are many factors that play into our window cleaning pricing. Here are a few:

  • Square footage of the property
  • Number of stories
  • High windows or transom windows
  • Standard panes vs French panes
  • Time since the last professional cleaning
  • If any construction debris is present on glass

Our standard window cleaning process covers wiping the frames, glass, sills/ledges, and ‘visible’ or exposed tracks. To start, the perimeter of the window and its frames are wiped clean with a damp microfiber towel to remove dirt, dust, and cobwebs. The glass is mopped, scrubbed, squeegeed, detailed with appropriate buffing tools, and double-checked. Our standard window cleaning process does not include post-construction debris (i.e., paint, stucco, silicon, glue, stickers, etc.). If there is minimal construction debris on the glass, we do our best to remove it within reason, but severe construction debris is addressed with the client on-site if it’s apparent that there is much more on the glass than just general dirt and dust build-up. All exposed sills, ledges, and “visible” tracks below the glass are lightly wiped clean with a yellow microfiber towel to clean up any cleaning solution that may have fallen into the ‘visible’ track or on the sill/ledge. All “hidden” tracks (The hidden track, unless you open the window, is not covered in our standard window cleaning process.) Hidden track cleaning is a part of our deep track cleaning service and is a separate and additional charge. Please visit our website form or call us if you have any questions regarding our deep track cleaning process and if it’s a good fit for you.

Trust is the foundation upon which all relationships are built. Period. I’ve heard it put this way… Trust is gained in droplets and lost in buckets. I believe that statement to be true from my experience. How do you know you can trust Squeegee Bros to be your window cleaning company for years to come? I believe this trust will stem from the foundation upon which we’ve established the company. First and foremost, I believe that character and integrity are integral to building any company or relationship. That comes from your core and comes from how you’ve been raised. I believe you can trust us because I have prepared my mind with a multitude of books for entrepreneurship and success with people. I have surrounded myself with a great association of entrepreneurs and business owners who value people. I’ve attended John Maxwell leadership conferences every April for the last 13 years of my life to grow in my ability to connect and lead people. The one book I give immense credit to is called The Go-Giver by Bob Burg and John David Mann. In it, they break down five laws of stratospheric success that have led me in how I conduct my business…

  • The Law of Value: Your true worth is determined by how much more you give in value than you take in payment.
  • The Law of Compensation: Your income is determined by how many people you serve and how well you serve them.
  • The Law of Influence: Your influence is determined by how abundantly you place other people’s interests first.
  • The Law of Authenticity: The most valuable gift you have to offer is yourself.
  • The Law of Receptivity: The key to effective giving is to stay open to receiving.

What is Conditioning?

Our conditioning agent really does the magic when applied to your cleaned screens. It shines and protects leather, vinyl, rubber, chrome, stainless steel, wood, and more. It protects against cracks, hardening, rotting, or dulling from sun, ozone, and smog. Furthermore, it creates an elegant, smooth, static-free wet-look surface that resists water, dust, dirt, and other soils. Best of all, it acts as a UV inhibitor that helps protect your screens from deterioration from the Arizona sun’s UV rays. Truly a small investment in comparison to costly screen replacement down the road.

How to Count Tracks

Please refer to this helpful video to help you count window tracks.

How to Count Panes

Please refer to this graphic for instructions on how to count your window panes. A pane of glass is a piece of glass surrounded by a frame on all sides. Please count each pane separately – most windows have 1, 2, or 3 panes, but some specialty windows like garden windows can have more.

Actual pricing will be based on actual job information. Our estimate includes a reasonable scope of work for window cleaning. How to Count Sun Screens

Here are a few image examples to help you count your sun screens.

Standard vs. French Panes

French panes have an EXTERNAL decorative cross grid pattern. Instead of having one large window pane you have multiple small window panes. Standard windows are just one blank sheet of glass but sometimes may have a decorative cross-grid pattern sandwiched in between two layers of glass. If you cannot feel the cross-grid pattern, chances are it’s a standard pane! Still not sure? Give us a call!
